So my friends tell me that I need to update this blog...

As if I didn't already know that I should keep up to date with such a lyrical affair (ok, so I admit, its not that lyrical yet, but give a guy a break...).

So here I am, sitting listening to Pink Martini (yes, I said LISTENING!), feeling in a grand mood with life and everything. Lots of work still on the go, but no point in stressing, just taking things in stride and dealing with things one at a time...

Isn't student life grand?! It has its days. *smile* Despite all the pressure and stress at the moment, I'm feeling really positive about things, I'm trying not to take the politics and the bureaucracy of it all too seriously, I mean what's the point, no sense in getting flustered and down because of other peoples political crap. Just seems a waste of energy that could be put a lot better use!

And the shocking thing is I don't even care if people don't agree with me. HA!

Shiny Happy People...

So i finally bought myself an iPod. Been wanting to for ages, so i finally took the plunge. Loving every minute of it so far... Now to choose what to listen to first... check out the picture link below to read more, its just so small and shiny... definitely worth the purchase!

The Over Sensitive B*tch

What is it with people these days? Ok so its not ALL people, but its a fairly large proportion. Sure I realize that no one is perfect, but is it that bad for me to expect that people will treat me with the same respect that I afford them? I'd say no... But apparently the world is out to prove me horrible wrong!

People say and do things, but if you dare to actually call them on it (because they're acting like bitches and assholes), they tell you that you're being like the judge and jury, and that you're the over-sensitive bitch! Pisses me off I tell you. Why can't people just be honest about things? Why make out that you did this or that or the next thing, when in all actuality you just had a cup of coffee?

Apparently I'm horribly unfair for reacting to the unjust treatment and lies given to me. Apparently its my solemn duty to just take it like a man and put up with it. I dare not actually react and call people on their bluff, nor dare I take on their tactics and treat them in a similar fashion.... Then I'm the wicked bitch of the west (apologies to Dorothy and her little dog too...)?

Oh well, I must live in my own special brand of world where this is unacceptable. Time will tell I guess, I'm just going to have to not let them grind me down. I'm not going to turn into a jaded bitch, if they think that's going to happen, they have a lot of things coming to them...

Where do people find the time?

A good friend of mine send me a link the other day, and apart from the fact that it took just short of a year* to download the damn video clip, it was worth the wait. Quite honestly i haven't laughed so much in a long time!

Hopefully the rest of this story won't have to be quite so dramatic! But hopefully it will be filled with intrigue, good characters, brooding heros (got to love those!), and even the occassional celebrity visit (one can dream)...

Only the Portentous Flame really knows the true nature of this story, but for the rest of us, we'll have to settle for letting time tell...
